Our season kicks off with a slew of Community Events

Thanks to the Princeton Public Library for hosting us last night for "Inspiring Choreography," a discussion with ARB Resident Choreographers Mary Barton and Matthew Keefe about their world premiere ballets.  And, thanks to everyone who joined Company Director Douglas Martin and ARB for the performance and discussion.

Continue the discussion and see more dancing today at 5:15pm in our Princeton Studios (301 North Harrison St.) for On Pointe, our ongoing free community engagement series.

We are all thrilled to be diving headlong into the season, and to be connecting our audiences with dance through these programs.

Tomorrow, we will switch gears - from Mary and Matthew's new works to a classic, revisited.   The Institute for Advanced study will host the company for a lecture and performance of Romeo and Juliet, with new choreography by Director Douglas Martin, presented exclusively for the Institute Community.

It's so fulfilling to be able to present such a range of community programming and repertory all within the span of just 3 days.  And it's such a treat for our dancers to have the opportunity to share their artistry in more intimate settings.

But, nothing beats the magic of performing on stage with lights, costumes, and an appreciative audience.  Next week, we will do just that when we present, and officially premiere, the new works we have been working on (and more!) at OPENING NIGHT at The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College.  We hope you will join us!
