Hi Everyone!  I’m Marissa DeSantis, and I’m currently the marketing intern at ARB.  I’m also a senior at Rider University, where I am double majoring in communication with a track in news/editorial journalism and dance. 

             This week was my first full week of academic and dance classes, and though it’s been tiring getting back into the swing of things, I’m glad to be back.  Although I usually take the student division classes at PBS, this semester I’m switching to open enrollment because my schedule is so hectic.  I was lucky enough to take ballet with some of the company earlier this week in the Tuesday morning 401 class taught by Erika Mero.  It was quite a challenge, especially after taking the whole summer off, but being back in the studio felt good.  I am also really happy to be taking a ballet class taught by Jen Gladney.  I’ve known Jen since I was a freshman at Rider, and have gotten the chance to work with her in several Rider Dances performances.  One of the things that’s so great about being in a class taught by Jen is that she already knows how I dance, so she’s aware of what I need to work on and gives me corrections and combinations that I can really benefit from.

             I am very excited to be working with ARB, and am looking forward to this season’s performances!
